This 3-1/2" diameter footed jewellery or dresser casket with a fitted velvet lined interior (with a gilded interior lid and space for 4 rings and a well for other jewels) has a gothic G in a wreath monogram. The jewel box has a Birks date hallmark for 1935 as well as being marked sterling and Birks 24. It weighs 190.0 gr. and it is in excellent vintage condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small separation of the interior velvet covered divider. These jewellery boxes were usually sold as an accessory with sterling brush sets, but are not often found with sets, A nice addition to any silver box collection. A Mongolian solid silver and coral ring with a pin-mounted genuine coral cabochon with silver beaded design circa 1930s. This vintage ring is approximately 75 years old but may be older. This antique 2-1/4" high straight sided cann shaped coffee cup and matching 4-1/2" saucer is entirely hand painted, with no transfer applied. This English bone china cup and saucer has the Derby mark with the year mark for the early 1930s; this pattern was in production from 1902-2014. This cup is in the flat bottom, smooth rim design. An Ellis Bros. gold filled fancy pocket watch with a 15J Cyma 777 four adjustment movement from the 1920s. This 1-3/4" open face man's pocket watch features a hand engraved gold plated face with a single sunk second hand dial and purple finished metal hands. Ellis Brothers was taken over by Birks in the late 1920s and this watch has an Ellis branded Swiss Cyma 777 15 jewel movement with four adjustments. The works are 34mm. across, size 4 or 15 ligne. It is stem wind and it has a 20 year gold filled Wadsworth Referee case with the number 6916315. It has the inscription "PRESENTED TO HAROLD A. DUMPHY BY THE STAFF OF ELLIS BROS. 1926" and it has a fancy AHD monogram on the back of the case. This watch is in very good condition with a bit of face soiling - the works are clean however the hands adjust in all positions of the winder but the winder doesn't engage. It is being sold as is without warranty - all timepieces should be professionally serviced and cleaned.
