A simple and elegant Art Deco design four piece sterling silver International tea set c1930s. It consists of the following: the 8" across the handle and spout and 6" high wicker handled teapot, stamped STERLING 2 PTs and 913 with the International plumed knight's helmet mark; the open sugar bowl, 4-1/2" across the handles and 2-1/8" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING c134, also with the knight's helmet mark; the cream jug, 3-1/2" across the handle and spout and 3" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING C 134 also with the knight's helmet mark. The tray is made by Towle and it is stamped TOWLE STERLING and 150. The set fits well and looks great on it, although it isn't the same maker (slight surface marks from the tea set). It measures 10-1/2" across, and has a raised straight rim that is 5/8" across and has a rolled edge. The edge curves down, approximately 5/8" deep, to an inner rim. This set is in excellent condition, with no dents, corrosion, monograms, repairs or damage. The set weighs 1074 grams (approximately 34.6 troy ounces or just over 38 avoirdupois ounces, or a bit over 2 pounds of sterling silver). It has a clean and elegant deco design that would fit beautifully in a modern decor. acob Grimminger sterling silver julep cups or flat goblets circa 1910 1920. These hand hammered tumblers are 3-1/4" in height, made and marked by Jacob Grimminger of Gmund, Germany (established 1895). Being sterling rather than 800 silver, these cups were most likely made for export and they have an Arts and Crafts hammered finish consistent with cups of this period. They weigh from 86.8 to 92.6 grams. They are in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. There are three in stock. All condition issues are noted. A vintage c1930s ornate pair of sterling silver open salt dishes in the form of winged swans with cobalt glass salt dishes. The swans have fine detail and embossing along with openwork; the wings are riveted with silver plate on brass pins. These fine table decorations measure 3" long and 3" tall. A Japanese sterling silver inlaid metal cigarette case from the 1940s. This well-made and decorative 4-1/4 x 3-1/4" smoking accessory has black patination and inlaid copper both outside and inside the front cover. It also has black patination and hand incising and tooling on both sides and surfaces. The view is a copper bridge over a stream with mountains and trees in the background. It has a pushbutton clasp, a metal cigarette retaining strap and a signature on the back cover which may be a maker's mark or a description of the scene. It has the Japanese rising sun silver mark with STERLING on the inside and it weighs 109.7 grams. It is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some shallow minor surface denting and a touch of wear to the black patination. A Joan of Arc International sterling silver handle 3 pc large carving set. It consists of the 13-3/8" carving knife, the 11-1/8" carving fork and the 13-1/8" sharpening steel. A pair of Gorham 1190 sterling silver convertible 11-1/4" candlesticks with 3 pieces. These weighted candlesticks include the weighted 4-3/4" bases which act as short candlesticks, the 2-7/8" candle holder bell which can mount to the bases or on top of the 4-1/8" conical taper which can also screw into the base. When all pieces are mounted these fine table decorations are 11-1/4" tall. They have the Gorham marks on the bottom and they are probably from the 1950s or 1970s. They are good quality and they are in very good condition with no monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some rim denting to the small upper pieces, a small shallow dent to the conical middle piece on one stick and some spotty clouding from old tarnish on one stick which can be polished or buffed if you want to put in the work to do so. A classic elegant sterling silver scalloped or Chippendale edge round serving tray by Birks. This sterling tray measures 14 inches across, it weighs 1,049 grams (approximately 33.67 troy ounces), and it comes with the original blue cloth Birks bag and box. It is stamped BIRKS STERLING 89/9 and it has the year stamp for 1972.
