The shield-shaped pendant has two bezel-set genuine amethysts and it is stamped 9Ct inside the bale. It is simpler is style than much of the fin-du-siecle jewellery, as this piece is showing an Arts and Crafts simplicity influencing the design. It weighs 5.5 grams. This ring weighs 2.4 grams and it is marked 900 PLAT 100 IR'D. indicating a 90 per cent platinum and 10 per cent iridium precious metal content. This antique size 7-1/2 or 7.5 ring has four genuine true red colour garnets surrounded by twenty genuine mine cut diamonds in a classic marquise shape. This Victorian period piece is unmarked, but has been tested and is confirmed to be 12 K gold. It measures just over 7/8" long and is 5/16" across the elegant marquise shaped setting and it weighs 3.0 grams.
