A beautiful, vintage Art Deco period Industrial-style chrome and celluloid necklace c1930. Made in Germany by Jakob Bengel, this high-style beauty has a 19" split rod-link chain with a springring catch with tortoiseshell celluloid spacers. The 2 x 1" pendant has fine stepped chrome trim with a large tortoiseshell celluloid center with a chrome accent. This necklace is signed GERMANY on the jump ring, and it is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor losses to one celluloid spacer, some slight brass blush on the the lower chrome trim on the pendant and the loss of chrome on one link (all very minor). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A genuine 3 strand angel coral necklace with a carved coral drop from the 1980s. This wonderful and scarce necklace features three strands of genuine white and orange/pink angel hair coral 5.3 mm. beads and three baroque pearl and two gold bead spacers per strand. We haven't tested the gold but the coral tests as genuine and it is undyed and original in colour. The shortest strand is 28" and the hand carved floral drop measures 1-3/8 x 3/4". The workmanship is very fine and the drop's tiny linking coral beads are as small as 1.7 mm. This unsigned beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
