A pair of Gorham 1190 sterling silver convertible 11-1/4" candlesticks with 3 pieces. These weighted candlesticks include the weighted 4-3/4" bases which act as short candlesticks, the 2-7/8" candle holder bell which can mount to the bases or on top of the 4-1/8" conical taper which can also screw into the base. When all pieces are mounted these fine table decorations are 11-1/4" tall. They have the Gorham marks on the bottom and they are probably from the 1950s or 1970s. They are good quality and they are in very good condition with no monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some rim denting to the small upper pieces, a small shallow dent to the conical middle piece on one stick and some spotty clouding from old tarnish on one stick which can be polished or buffed if you want to put in the work to do so. A signed Kanyengeh 6 Nations large pottery vase signed Dee 1977. This Native Canadian pottery vase has the famous sculpted exterior and brown glaze with the turquoise blue interior. It features incised animals including a fox, bear, heron, moose, beaver, bird and turtle and it measures an impressive 7" tall. It is incised KANYENGEH POTERY DEE (Martin) 1977 with a vase symbol - other examples by Dee have the feather mark. This company hails from the Brantford area of Southern Ontario and their work is quite distinctive and sought after (the pottery is now closed). A custom bighorn sheep ram sterling silver and gold nuggets ring probably from the 1970s-80s. This impressive size 10-3/4 rihg features a highly detailed bighorn sheep flanked with two genuine gold nuggets. This ring measures 3/4" wide and 3/4" from nugget to nugget, it weighs 11.2 grams and it is stamped STER with an M maker's mark. The nuggets test well above our 18k acid and they are probably around 22k. A 20K yellow gold lion pendant or charm. This 5/8" across round charm depicts a side view of a lion in motion and it is stamped 835 (for 20k gold). Although 835 is also a mark used in Europe for silver, this piece tests as over 18 K and less than 22K. There are additional tiny undecipherable marks on the bale-loop. A 12K Egyptian rose gold genuine yellow topaz ring. This vintage size 6-1/2 or 6.5 genuine topaz solitaire has gold hallmark for Egypt. The date mark may be for 1943 -1944, but that may vary by city where assayed. The claw-set stone is a rectangular faceted or emerald cut, and is a definite yellow with very slight brown under-tone, and has an excellent clarity. The topaz measures 11.5mm x 9.1mm and has a depth of 7.3mm, so it is slightly over 5 carats in size. The ring weighs 3.2 grams. We also tested the ring, and it appears to be closer to 14K, but is being sold according to its assay mark. This sterling tray measures 14 inches across, it weighs 1,049 grams (approximately 33.67 troy ounces), and it comes with the original blue cloth Birks bag and box. It is stamped BIRKS STERLING 89/9 and it has the year stamp for 1972.
