This 435 caliber high quality retro wind-up manual wristwatch has a single-sunk second hand dial, full Roman numerals and a gold plate L-CRUSADER-3 expansion band with triple segment alternating convex and concave links. The movement features 17 jewels with rubies and it has a 750468 serial number and all of the proper markings. The Star Watch Case Company base metal back has the 434-474 numbers and a 110711 serial number as well as various service etchings. This watch is very clean and it runs and it keeps time however we don't offer a warranty on watches - all timepieces should be professionally cleaned and adjusted. A World War II nurse's cloak or cape with black and red from the 1940s. This authentic military collectible has a 16" collar (hook to hook), it is 40-3/4" long and it has one closure with two button holes. It was made by Lac-Mac in London (Ontario) Canada and it has the original black painted hanging chain as well as SCGH embroidered on the back of the collar (possibly for St. Catharines General Hospital as it was obtained locally). These hand hammered tumblers are 3-1/4" in height, made and marked by Jacob Grimminger of Gmund, Germany (established 1895). It consists of the following: the 8" across the handle and spout and 6" high wicker handled teapot, stamped STERLING 2 PTs and 913 with the International plumed knight's helmet mark; the open sugar bowl, 4-1/2" across the handles and 2-1/8" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING c134, also with the knight's helmet mark; the cream jug, 3-1/2" across the handle and spout and 3" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING C 134 also with the knight's helmet mark. The tray is made by Towle and it is stamped TOWLE STERLING and 150. The set fits well and looks great on it, although it isn't the same maker (slight surface marks from the tea set). It measures 10-1/2" across, and has a raised straight rim that is 5/8" across and has a rolled edge. The edge curves down, approximately 5/8" deep, to an inner rim. A scarce Crown Devon England pink Chinoiserie lamp from the 1920s. This ceramic table lamp is in the Chinoiserie style in an attractive mottled pink with hand painted gold decoration. This English earthenware 12-1/2" tall lamp (body) resembles a covered jar. It sits on an ornate patterned gilt brass base and it has a double S style horizontal twin light socket set with pull-chains. It stands a total height of 25" and it has been rewired. The base is fastened tightly to the porcelain and we were unable to dismantle the lamp to show the marks. This unusual lamp is in mostly excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the re-wiring, the replacement of one of the dark patinated original sockets with a modern version, glaze crazing and the absence of a finial. A Chisolm Model C1 flip down toaster from the 1930s. This scarce and unusual chrome plated and wood two sided flip down electric toaster is by W.C. Chisholm Mfg. Co. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This toaster has wooden handles and painted wooden sides on the base; it also has heavy springs keeping the doors shut. The heat wire wrapped mica plates are intact as is the cloth-wrapped original cord. It has a detachable top with a wood handle (possibly for keeping toast warm). It works just fine with lots and lots of heat, and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor paint loss to the base wood. We have lightly cleaned it however it still has some grime and stains, all of which can be polished out if you want to spend the time. The ornate floral hand engraved locket measures 2-1/4 x 1-1/2" (including bale) and it has a 17-7/8" fine link chain with a spring-ring clasp. The undecorated back of the locket has no monogram or initials and it has two celluloid windows in the interior. It is stamped WRJ GOLD FILLED (for WJ Reynolds of Toronto) on the locket and 1-20 12K on the spring ring.
