A Chisolm Model C1 flip down toaster from the 1930s. This scarce and unusual chrome plated and wood two sided flip down electric toaster is by W.C. Chisholm Mfg. Co. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This toaster has wooden handles and painted wooden sides on the base; it also has heavy springs keeping the doors shut. The heat wire wrapped mica plates are intact as is the cloth-wrapped original cord. It has a detachable top with a wood handle (possibly for keeping toast warm). It works just fine with lots and lots of heat, and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor paint loss to the base wood. A simple and elegant Art Deco design four piece sterling silver International tea set c1930s. It consists of the following: the 8" across the handle and spout and 6" high wicker handled teapot, stamped STERLING 2 PTs and 913 with the International plumed knight's helmet mark; the open sugar bowl, 4-1/2" across the handles and 2-1/8" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING c134, also with the knight's helmet mark; the cream jug, 3-1/2" across the handle and spout and 3" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING C 134 also with the knight's helmet mark. The tray is made by Towle and it is stamped TOWLE STERLING and 150. The set fits well and looks great on it, although it isn't the same maker (slight surface marks from the tea set). It measures 10-1/2" across, and has a raised straight rim that is 5/8" across and has a rolled edge. The edge curves down, approximately 5/8" deep, to an inner rim. This set is in excellent condition, with no dents, corrosion, monograms, repairs or damage. A scarce Crown Devon England pink Chinoiserie lamp from the 1920s. This ceramic table lamp is in the Chinoiserie style in an attractive mottled pink with hand painted gold decoration. This English earthenware 12-1/2" tall lamp (body) resembles a covered jar. It sits on an ornate patterned gilt brass base and it has a double S style horizontal twin light socket set with pull-chains. It stands a total height of 25" and it has been rewired. The base is fastened tightly to the porcelain and we were unable to dismantle the lamp to show the marks. A Royal Crown Derby Traditional Old Imari 2451 pattern demitasse cup and saucer from the 1930s. This antique 2-1/4" high straight sided cann shaped coffee cup and matching 4-1/2" saucer is entirely hand painted, with no transfer applied. This English bone china cup and saucer has the Derby mark with the year mark for the early 1930s; this pattern was in production from 1902-2014. This cup is in the flat bottom, smooth rim design. An excellent sports collectible and piece of jewellery, this 1-1/4 x 1" (sans bale) pendant has two photo retaining bezels and windows on the interior and a centrally mounted genuine 7 point diamond (by gauge) on the front. It has the recipient's name, ANTHONY MURPHY, on the front and the dedication FROM JACOB KOHLER TO CAYUGA HOCKEY TEAM WINNERS GROUP 9 1927 on the back.
