This unsigned tableware serving item has an attractive climbing flowers and ribs design, and the glass colour is a pale misty green. This jug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of wear to the silver plating and a couple of shallow dents and a gap where the lid doesn't close tightly. A Meissen Scattered Flowers demitasse cup and saucer from the 1920s. This Scattered Flowers pattern 2" tall cup and matching 4-7/8" saucer both have hand painted flowers on the saucer and cup exterior; the cup's inside is undecorated and they have gold trim. In production for a very long time this cup appears to be from the 1920s or possibly before, with a paneled design and round non-scalloped edges as well as an angular handle. Both pieces have the crossed swords mark in cobalt and the cup has an underglaze 39 and gold 44 while the saucer has a gold 44 and underglaze 838 14. This fine porcelain item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs except for a small factory frit burn in the cup (the brown dot in our first picture). A Royal Doulton Pixies D3690 series ware baby or child's bowl circa 1920s. This seldom seen 7-1/2" across ceramic seriesware design shows three green and yellow garbed pixies holding Chinese lanterns. It has the black Royal Doulton England mark with the D 3690 hand painted number. It is in fair condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a 5/8" chip to the upper rim and some allover crazing. it was introduced in 1913 and was discontinued by 1929 or 1930. A Stromberg-Carlson Model 1243 desk telephone from around 1940. This stylish, heavy black painted metal phone is 8" deep and 5-1/2" wide with a 9-1/4" long hand piece. A great display piece or suitable for use, it has been fitted with modern phone jack wiring and it has the original included schematics mounted on the inside with wiring options, etc. A few wire strands are disconnected and we couldn't get a dial tone, but we couldn't figure out the wiring scheme. It is in very good original condition with no overpainting and only minor paint scrapes and minor signs of rubbing and wear. The dial is a bit stiff, and this item is perfect for a good restoration. These 5/8" wide sterling napkin ring measures 1-3/4" across and they have the Roden maker's mark and STERLING. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several years after.
