An 18k yellow gold wedding ring circa 1950s. This vintage size 8 wedding band has a rounded upper shape and is 18K solid gold. This classic design ring weighs approximately 4.6 grams and it is 1/8" (or 3.4mm) wide and 1/16" (1.74mm) thick. It is marked HARWOOD and 18K. Harwood was one of the jewellery designs by W & H Jewelry Company,Inc. (Providence, Rhode Island, known 1940s-1965). The celluloid is a pale yellow with blue staining, the royal blue wood balls are suspended from brass hooks and the clasp is a gold-plated brass. A feldspar necklace and earrings set from the 1930s with pastel colours. This natural mineral crystal is semitranslucent and easily dyed with a linear fiber-like appearance and it is shown to good effect in this post-Deco era set. The 15-1/2" necklace has five interlocking hoops with one colour each of blue, pink and green; the colours alternate on the ends of the necklace. The 1-1/2 x 7/8" screwback earrings have multiple colours of feldspar as well and all stones are capped with brass fittings and wire loop spacers. This fantastically detailed and superbly constructed 2-1/2 x 3/4" fish pin is lushly gilded and it is fully articulated and it has natural coral eyes. A Mexican sterling silver necklace and bracelet set by Artemio Navarrette. He was a master silversmith who worked for William Spratling, later producing jewelry under his own name. This 2 pc. set consists of the 7" length bracelet and the matching 15-1/4" length necklace. Each has a hook and eye clasp, they are made out of domed cutout 11/16" across segments. This ring measures 5/8 x 3/4" across the setting, it weighs 5.1 grams and it is stamped 10K with the maker's mark for I.B. Goodman Manufacturing Co., Inc. of Newport, Kentucky (1937-).
