In the A929 pattern produced by RCD from 1965-74, this 15-1/8 x 12-1/2" platter is lushly decorated in gold with a hand painted over transfer floral arrangement in the center. The plate has superb hand painting in cobalt blue, orange, gold and rust red in the Imari palette and it has a ruffled edge. It is stamped with the RCD ENGLAND green mark with the date cypher III for 1940 and it has an underglaze C1 mark. It is in good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs, but please note there is a bit of gilding loss and a few utensil marks.
