A 19th century Scottish sterling silver agate pebble brooch. This antique 1-1/2" across traditional pin in the form of a hand-engraved sash with crescent. The stones include bloodstone, jasper and another green agate. This pin is unsigned (typical of Scottish pieces) and it tests as silver. It has a c-clasp and a loop for wear as a pendant; it weighs 9.8 grams. This item is in fair condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a crack in the jasper stone and a break on the central stone which has been remounted with some fill at one end along time ago. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
