A 10k opal and garnets ring from the 1950s. This great looking vintage 1950s 10k yellow gold size 6-1/4 ring features a colourful natural opal flanked by two garnets. This ring features a claw-set 11mm x 9 mm. natural opal which measures 3 mm. deep; the Bohemian garnets are also genuine stones and are a wonderful deep red. This ring weighs 3.5 grams, and the opal shows intense green and blue flash with an underlying orange (much more vivid in person than in our pictures); it is stamped 10K with an FJ maker's mark. This ring measures 11/16" x 7/16" across the top, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some dulling and abrasions on the top of the opal cabochon from wear, which can be polished up professionally. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
