A true and vintage example of period Industrial Art Deco design. This is a 16-1/2" long chrome plated .830 silver necklace featuring a carnelian glass facetted and grooved stone in the central 5/8" wide drop. It has a springring catch and is probably German or Austrian. The necklace has the famous angles, textures and repetitive elements found in true Deco design of the era and this is a fine example of the quintessential elements then in use. It weighs 7.3 grams, it is stamped 830 with an unidentified maker's mark on the jump ring, and it is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a very tiny flake on the edge of the stone (barely noticeable). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface insured shipping to the U.S. is $6.75 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $95 if paid with a credit card.
