A pair of Victorian 12k yellow gold pierced swinging earrings circa 1880 1890. These stunning antique 1-1/2" x 7/8" (including ear wire) earrings feature a finely detailed ring which swings back and forth across the faceted interior gold ball. They are not stamped, but test as at least 12k gold. 12k was used as part of the United Kingdom gold standard from the 19th century until 1932. They weigh 5.2 grams, and they are in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a few minor dents on one stationary facetted ball. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
