A 12K Egyptian Synthetic Alexandrite Ring from the 1950s or earlier. This size 6 ring measures 1/2" across the claw-set stone which has a lovely purple colour indoors which shows the expected blue in daylight. This ring weighs 4.0 grams, it is stamped with a set of Egyptian hallmarks for 12k gold and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. Please note that the wear to the edges of the stone is highly exaggerated in our halogen-lit pictures - it looks fine in real life. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
