An early 20th century nickle silver Sturdy ring box from 1900-20. This 1-1/4" across box has an engine turned design with a central medallion which has never been monogrammed. It has a canted profile when opened and it has a velvet and silk interior. It has a pushbutton clasp and it is stamped THOMAS LEES HAMILTON, a jewellery on James Street in Hamilton, Ontario dating to before Canada's Confederation in 1867. The box was made by Sturdy and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Small packet air shipping to the U.S. starts at $9.50 (other spots may vary). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally.
