An Edwardian 9k yellow gold turquoise and pearls bar tie cravat pin from the 1900 1910 period. This 1-3/4 x 1/2" brooch or straight pin is stamped 9Ct and it weighs 1.7 grams. It features a central natural turquoise cabochon surrounded by silvery seed pearls in a flower head arrangement with Nouveau style swirls. It has a c-clasp and it is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small dent at one end and some minor flattening of the bar part of the pin (possibly from the making). One of the accent pearls is also cracked. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
