An Edwardian Art Deco sterling silver barrel step cut crystal necklace from around 1920. This beauty features a fine open wire link 16" chain with a hook and eye clasp. The 1-1/4 x 5/8" unmarked pendant features a step-cut rounded barrel style crystal stone claw-set on a mount with an array of white rhinestones. The chain is stamped STER and it weighs 6.2 grams. It is in the transitional style when Edwardian design was becoming Art Deco around 1920, and this necklace is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the splitting and twisting together of one wire link anchoring the pendant to the chain (it was probably free-swining on the chain originally). This can easily be reverted. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
