A 15k sardonyx cameo Etruscan style watch or locket pin brooch from the 1860 era. This fine mid-Victorian 2-3/4 x 7/8" pin features a fine carved genuine sardonyx male warrior portrait mounted on an Etruscan style pin with ornate wirework. It is unsigned and it tests as a high 15k (a bit below 18k) and it also has a hook for the suspension of a watch or locket. It weighs 7.8 grams and it is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses or damage other than some gold soldered repairs, a small split and the replacement of the original c-clasp with a safety clasp end. There is some blush and tarnish as you would expect on a piece after a century and a half. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
