A Bennington 19th century dog handle hunting scene large pitcher. This 10-1/4" tall pitcher has the typical Bennington mottled deep brown glaze with green and blue slip and a glazed bottom. The handle is a hunting dog and the body of the pitcher shows hanging game birds. It is unsigned and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a penpoint sized flake to the glaze on the body under the spout near the bottom and a small flake on the handle near the bottom (both very minor). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $26 (other spots may vary, air is higher). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
