A Tall Royal Nippon 13-3/4" hand painted floral ewer or pitcher from the 1880s. This wonderfully painted and impressive pitcher features lushly painted and coloured flowers including asters and poppies, green leaves and cobalt blue areas along with lush gold highlights. It has gold jeweling and it has Royal Nippon markings on the bottom. This fine piece of Japanese decorative art is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of expected rubbing to a few areas of the gold near the base and on the handle (quite minor). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $26 (other spots may vary, air is higher). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
