A set for 12 mother of pearl handle silver plated fish knives and forks from the 1897-1900 era. This 24 piece set consists of the 7-7/8" fish knives and the 6-3/4" forks. Each piece has a mother of pearl handle with excellent lustre and green and pink flash. The ferrules are unmarked and nicely embossed (they may be silver - we haven't tested them and it wasn't required to mark small, light items). The silver plated fittings (knife blades and forks) have ornate and attractive hand engraving and they have the maker's mark for Harrison Fisher of Sheffield, England (established 1897, this mark in use from 1897-1900). We don't have a box for this set however they will be shipped in a long cloth flatware wrap with pouches for each piece. This set is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, monograms, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $26 (other spots may vary, air is higher). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
