A Mexican sterling mask abalone shell poison ring from the 1950s. This adjustable band ring features a wirework design and it is fronted by a hinged poison compartment with a colourful bezel-set carved abalone shell mask. This ring measures 1 x 3/4" and it has a partial HECHO EN MEXICO mark. It weighs 8.0 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
