A 14k white gold genuine ruby and diamonds ring circa 1940s. This elegant vintage size 6-1/4 or 6.25 quatrefoil shape ring features a central 42 point natural oval ruby of medium dark purplish red colour with light inclusions, surrounded by two brilliant and 24 single cut diamonds (total 26 points, SI, G-H colour). The ring is a style which looks lovely on a hand. The jewel part of the ring measures 13/16" long and x 1/2" wide across the finger. It is marked 14 K and has a maker's mark of TJF or TIF (mark worn), and it weighs 4.1 grams. Thoughtful 75th or ruby anniversary or July or April birthday. There is an independent gemological appraisal with this item for $1500 CAD. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. We have a difficult time accurately capturing reds with our camera, so please note that the ruby is somewhat more ruby red than pink, and the diamonds are clear. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; items are vintage or antique and have signs of use.
