A huge chain link 800 silver and sterling charm bracelet with 15 charms from the 1970s. This unusual 7-1/2" long bracelet has 1/2" wide solid chain links and it closes with a simple safety loop on the end link which is stamped 800. The charms include: church (with a Lord's Prayer Stanhope viewer), cross/heart/anchor, heart with black enamel center (800 silver, not rhodium plated), cuckoo clock (loose dangling chains/weight), Barrie Minor Hockey Assn. (Ontario city, Dave 75/76 engraved on back), Happy Birthday (Ted 1975 engraved on back), Merry Christmas, VIP (3D letters), Aquarius (turquoise "stone"), A Date To Remember, Star of David (not rhodium plated, 800 silver), Calif. (with glass pearl and "ruby" stone on 3D palm tree), candlestick telephone, Mother. All charms have sterling silver marks except for the much older 800 silver charms. A Stanhope is a small magnifying lens housing a microprinted image or message on celluloid or plastic visible when held up to the eye. This bracelet weighs an impressive 79.5 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
