A 14k ruby and diamonds ring from the 1980s with an appraisal. This size 6-1/2 or 6.5 yellow gold ring features a one carat oval faceted genuine ruby (clarity I, included) with 12 round brilliant cut diamonds (total 0.30 carat, SI-1/I-1, J-M colour) surrounding the ruby and an additional 6 round brilliant cut 3 point diamonds (SI-1/I-1, J-M, one diamond chipped) set on each side of the ruby (total of 18 diamonds). Views 2-5 h are additional to show the actual colour of the ruby, which is a deeper red than it appears in the first picture. This ring weighs 3.97 grams and it includes an independent gemological appraisal for $3000.00 CAD. It is marked 14K with a maker's mark. It is in excellent as described condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the mentioned chip to one diamond. Items are vintage or antique and have signs of use.
