An Avon 10k yellow gold Highest Honor brooch pin with a 9 year service award pin from the 1960s. This attractive 9/16" brooch features the thick applied letter A which is set with seed pearls; it is mounted on a black onyx center in a gold embossed rim with AVON HIGHEST HONOR. It has a safety clasp and this pin also includes a 9 year 1/4" across service pin with a safety chain with a springring clasp linking it to the larger pin. This pin is unmarked (and it tests as 10k gold), it weighs 5.0 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
