A 9k yellow gold genuine emerald solitaire ring dated 1960. This size 6-1/2 ring features a high claw setting with leftward sweeping claws holding a shallow cut 5.0 mm. (3/16") across stone. The stone is heavily occluded with a couple of tight natural surface fissures or scrapes and it is roughly finished with a couple of flat spots to the edge of the girdle. It weighs 1.6 grams, it has a full set of hallmarks for London, England with the 375 gold mark and the date letter for 1960. It is in described condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
