An ornate 9k yellow gold custom made man's black onyx signet ring probably from the 1940s. This size 11 beauty has a rectangular bezel set black onyx stone in a 11/16 x 5/8" setting. The shoulders are beautifully sculpted and engraved with a floral motif. It is stamped only 9C, it weighs 7.6 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than signs of an earlier resizing. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
