A pair of Cree stitchwork leather gauntlet gloves from the 1930s-40s. This lovely pair of vintage Cree gauntlets or long mittens has fine hand stitch-work floral decoration; they are hand stitched deer hide with cut fringes, and they have a yellow felt interior. This pair is in excellent original condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than some folding of the fringe from storage. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
