A palladium blue sapphire and two opals ring from the 1910-20 era. This size 7-1/4 late Edwardian-early Art Deco ring features a pleasing circular loop design with a central deep blue round faceted 45 point (calculated) sapphire flanked by two bright and flashy cabochon opals. The opals have excellent clarity and they have vivid blue and green flash with orange fire. The setting measures 1/2 x 5/16", this ring weighs 2.6 grams and it is stamped PALLADIUM. An unframed oil on canvas painting depicting a fence and trees on a hillock with a mountain background by Eva Brook Donly (Canada 1867-1941). Born in Simcoe, Ontario, she studied under Frederick M. Bell-Smith at Alma College and the School for Artisans New York under John Ward Stimson. She also studied at the San Carlos Academy in Mexico City under Jose M. Pino. An Art Deco 14K diamond stick pin circa 1920s. This vintage stickpin has an approximately 7 point genuine round faceted diamond set in the top section which is white gold. The stone weight is estimated in setting, so it may be very slightly larger. The pin section is yellow gold and 2-1/4" in length. The top measures 1/4" across and all tests at 14 k. A Karl (Carl) Schultheiss numbered etching pre 1931. This is a 8-3/4" x 7-1/4" numbered, limited closed edition engraving titled "ANGERS, CATHEDRALE" by the German engraver Karl (Carl) Max Schultheiss (1885-1961). Born in Germany, he moved to the U.S. in the 1930s, where he had a 1938 exhibition of his etchings at the Art Institute of Chicago. This etching, in the original 16-1/4" x 16-1/4" black painted wood frame with original mat is signed on the right lower corner; it has an 8/350 number in pencil, and it has an embossed WOLGEMUTH & LISSNER BERLIN printer's mark. It has the original T. Eaton Co. inventory sticker (number 651); the label states: "ORIGINAL ETCHING bearing the artists signature. This proof has been printed by hand from the original copper plate, etched by the artist and is published in a short limited edition, the plate ultimately being destroyed. A Karl (Carl) Schultheiss numbered etching circa 1930. This 8-3/4" x 6-5/8" numbered, limited closed edition engraving probably of Angers Cathedral is by the German engraver Karl (Carl) Max Schultheiss (1885-1961). Starting out in Germany, he moved to the U.S. in the 1930s, where he had a 1938 exhibition of his etchings at the Art Institute of Chicago. An Art Deco 14k white gold amethyst ring from about 1920. This size 5 oval solitaire ring measures 5/8" x 1/2" across the top and it weighs 4.2 grams. It is stamped 14 K with an arrow maker's mark. The amethyst is a genuine natural stone, is approximately 4 carats in size (estimated in setting by gauge). The elegant scroll and engraving owes as much to the ornate style of the Edwardian period. The stone has a slightly lighter space of color gradient just off the center as can be see in the blow-up view picture 4. We like to mention all details, it is not too noticeable in real life. A sterling silver and guilloche pink enamel 2 piece nail buffer from the 1920s. This fine quality fully hallmarked Art Deco period sterling silver nail buffer has beautiful rose pink guilloche enamel decoration. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1925-6, this buffer measures 6" x 1-5/8" and it stands 2-3/8" high. The top features a blue plain enamel interior and the enamel covers the top and the bottom's sides. It has the maker's mark for Charles S. Green & Co., it weighs 146 grams, and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small impact under the bottom's lip (see pic) and a similar small chip on the bottom corner.
