An Edwardian Art Deco sterling silver barrel step cut crystal necklace from around 1920. This beauty features a fine open wire link 16" chain with a hook and eye clasp. The 1-1/4 x 5/8" unmarked pendant features a step-cut rounded barrel style crystal stone claw-set on a mount with an array of white rhinestones. The chain is stamped STER and it weighs 6.2 grams. It is in the transitional style when Edwardian design was becoming Art Deco around 1920, and this necklace is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the splitting and twisting together of one wire link anchoring the pendant to the chain (it was probably free-swining on the chain originally). The 2-1/2" x 1-3/8" mirror is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1916 with a C&N maker's mark, for Crisford and Norris. The 22" sterling silver chain with spring-ring catch is indistinctly marked on the loop, but tests as silver (it came with mirror, appears to be vintage but cannot guarantee it was purchased with mirror originally). A sterling silver planet moon stars mop rubies charm bracelet. This 8-3/8" long sterling silver charm bracelet has a lobster claw clasp in the form of an older Edwardian or Victorian style watch chain with round and oblong links and it was made by Heirloom 73 Jewelry of New York (1973- ), later known as Vintage Creations. What sets it apart is the subtle gold wash on the chain and on the seven charms. The charms are superbly crafted and embellished, and they include: sun (genuine 3 point ruby eyes, border with marcasites), Saturn (mother of pearl body, rings with marcasites), star (marcasites), sun (3 point genuine ruby eyes, rayed border with marcasites), moon (mother of pearl insert), crescent moon (marcasites), star (set on round backing with marcasites). The workmanship is very fine, with a light gold wash on the charms and chain, and no gold wash at all on the areas with marcasites. It is signed on the crescent charm only VINTAGE STERLING with what must be a VC for Vintage Creations, which was what the line was known as after 1979 (our thanks to CL for the helpful background information). Each is finely hand tooled with different objects inlaid in genuine 750 (18k) yellow gold; the objects include a sword, kettle on stand, lute, guitar, well with bucket and a double jam or cruet pot. This link has LUCA CREA (made by Luca) engraved on it, the clasp box has DOROTHY engraved on it and there is a set of marks with 750 M96 and what appears to be a 900 silver mark. These 2-1/8" long Edwardian earrings feature fine silver filigree work and natural turquoise cabochon stones and large robin's egg blue teardrop shaped drops. The bottom turquoise drop is substantial, so they make quite a statement. These large drop antique earrings have been converted from the original screw back to pierced mounts.
