A 9k blue topaz Edwardian rose gold bar pin from the 1910 era. This lovely 1-13/16" brooch features a cornflower blue topaz (tested) and it has a safety pin style clasp and a loop for a safety chain (not present). A copy of A Wreath of Canadian Song by C.M. Whyte-Edgar dated 1910. This is an original boxed presentation copy with a kid leather soft cover and the original presentation cardboard box with the title sticker. Now reprinted, this is an original with gold stamped embossing on the front and spine. It has the tissue-protected plates and is fully gilded on all edges. It was published by William Briggs of Toronto. Condition is excellent on this 8 x 5-3/8" book and it retains its original page ribbon placemarker. There are no folds, tears, foxing or other damage and there is a short ballpoint pen mark on the front cover which has overhanging edges beyond the pages. The box is rough with the lid having some staining, 3 corner splits and one flap split 2/5 of the way down. The box bottom has edge wear and some tight splitting. We haven't found another copy in this format (all originals so far have a leather wrapped hard cover). An Edwardian silver plated coin holder pendant on chain necklace from the 1910 era. This practical 2-1/8 x 1-1/4" coin compact pendant features two spring platforms which would hold nickels and dimes. the 25" chain is continuous and there is a pair of words on the largest platform, one of which is SILVER (we can't make out the other). They are slightly baroque in shape and surface and one on the end is slightly duller than the rest. An Edwardian 14k yellow gold seed pearl heart and flower lavaliere necklace circa 1910. This beauty measures 21-3/4" long and it has a central drop in the shape of a heart with a central flower. It has seed pearls and the drop measures 2-3/4" across (all three segments) and 1-1/2" deep. It is marked 14K and it weighs 7.7 grams. A Wm. Hutton silver plated Arts & Crafts egg stand for 5 with spoons circa 1900. This decadent egg serving stand consists of five 1-3/4" tall ball footed egg cups, the matching 4-1/2" ball-end egg spoons and the fitted 5-7/8" diameter base. The base is in the form of a deep round tray with mounting spikes for each egg cup which has a receptacle hole in the bottom; each egg cup retains some of its original interior gilding. The detachable screw-mound carrying handle has a rack for the five spoons and each piece has the maker's mark for Wm. Hutton & Sons of Sheffield, England. A Swiss sterling silver engraved hunter case pocket watch with a chain with a Routier Quebec retailer signature. This size 13 ligne or size 0 watch has fancy tooling on its full hunter sterling silver case which has an MQ '04 monogram on one side. The front and back cases and dust cover all have Swiss 935 sterling silver marks including the bear mark and the works resemble a barred Swiss movement from around the 1900 era. The porcelain dial with a single sunk second hand dial is signed A.C. ROUTIER QUEBEC (Quebec City, the retailer). This watch comes with an unmarked but tested sterling silver 24" double strand herringbone chain with a swivel. The crown is brass and this watch appears to be overwound and is not working. Also, the crystal and hour hand are missing however the face is in excellent condition as is the case. it is being sold as is without a guarantee. It is stamped 10K with the Canadian gold mark (a crown in the letter C) and the Eaton's E in a diamond retail mark. The four light blue gem stones are all claw-set.
