A Lanternier Limoges hand painted floral vase from around 1900. This subtle and beautiful Limoges French porcelain hand painted vase c1890-1900 vase stands 9-1/4" high and it has a finely painted floral arrangement in subtle pastel shades with gold highlights - the leafy sprigs with purple flowers have subtle green lines and the complex yellow and richly gilded large flowers and leaves have great detail and piped and jewelled thick gold outlines. A superb and top quality example of Austro-Hungarian glassmaking at its finest. This is a set of six shell shaped cranberry glass nut dishes c1900 with crisp molding and lush encrusted gold decoration. Attributed to Moser, this set is certainly of the expected quality but we can't definitively confirm this. The set consists of the deep 9-1/2" long and 7-1/8" wide master nut bowl as well as five matching 4-1/2" long and 3-3/8" wide individual nut bowls. The allover hand applied gold decoration is superb and it appears on the outer surfaces as well as on the interior. We have seen only a couple of examples of the smaller dishes only, never the full size master nut dish, and seldom in cranberry and rarely with such ornate decoration. A true prize for any serious collection of Moser or European art glass. This unsigned set appears unused, even after 110 years, and it is in stellar original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a 1/16" across flake to the edge of one of the individual dish's edges and the expected minor irregularities expected on hand-painted and hand-finished art glass. A scarce Gustave Hauber 800 silver and amethysts brooch circa 1895 1900. This fine hand engraved 9 x 6-3/4" standup picture frame dates to around 1910 and this oval frame has ball feet, a brass support foot (patented May 19, 1908) and the original plush insert. A JG Graves Sheffield sterling silver swing-out key pocket watch 1902. This English sterling silver key wind cased pocket watch is by JG Graves of Sheffield, England. Graves (1866-1945) was a watchmaker, entepreneur and benefactor, and this watch is hallmarked for Chester 1902, with the swing-out case having the Graves maker's mark. The watch is 2" across and the works measure 1-9/16" across the plate. They are inscribed J.G. GRAVES SHEFFIELD REVERSING PINION No688375. The single sunk dial has gold toned hands and it has THE "EXPRESS" ENGLISH LEVER in red and a black script G.S. GRAVES SHEFFIELD (indicating a late issue). It has an engine turned and engraved design on the back of the case and the back dust cover is unmarked. It is key wind and adjustment is by a nut at the pivot of the hands on the dial. This watch includes a later plastic base and dome cover, and it is in good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs - the case, porcelain dial and works all appear intact, clean and undamaged however this watch doesn't run and the crystal has some minor abrasions. An 18k diamond solitaire ring circa 1900. This size 7-1/2 ring features a 50-52 point diamond by gauge. It is nice and clean looking with good colour and clarity however it has some very tiny chipping around the girdle and it is slightly off round in cut. It is stamped 18K Wm.A.C. and it has "ARTHUR AND DORIS(?)" engraved on the inside of the shank. A Waltham hunter case GF size 6 pocket watch dated 1903. This very nice looking gold filled 1-5/8" pocket watch has a 1-1/4" movement. It was made in 1903 by the American Waltham Watch Company, it appears to be a size 6 Model 1890 (11 jewels) and the hunter case is attractively engraved. It has the same design on both sides and it has a script monogram on one side. The case is a Waltham Cashier 25 year hunter and the movement has the serial number 12285339. This watch runs and keeps time however we haven't had it cleaned and it is being sold as found without warranty. We recommend all timepieces be professionally cleaned and adjusted. An Arts and Crafts period 800 silver and cut glass claret jug circa 1900. This antique large claret decanter has a heavy silver handle and hinged top with a ball thumb rest setd on a cut crystal decanter. It measures 13-7/8" in height and 5-1/2" across the base. It is stamped Gebr. Friedland, a Berlin jewellery retai firml, operated by the sons after the death of the founder Friedland in 1829. It has the German silver quality marks (post-1888 crescent & crown stamp), 800 silver, 49961 and the manfacturer's mark for Koch & Bergfeld of Bremen (est. 1829). There is a very finely engraved heraldic family crest with a fish, knight's helmet with three feathers and engraved scrolling. This this top quality rarity is in excellent condition with no cracks, etching or discoloration, silver corrosion or damage, repairs or alterations; there is a 1/4" chip to the crystal on the bottom rim which is only slightly noticeable when the piece is displayed from that side. A great example of late Victorian Art Nouveau tableware. This is a fine satin-finish green gradient-style serving or candy dish on its original Art Nouveau silverplated stand. The 5" across dish stands 3" high, it has a nice medium green colour and satin finished panels flanked by gloss-finished ribs. A hand painted Limoges large roses centerpiece or fruit bowl dated 1903. This wonderfully handpainted 10-3/8" across bowl stands 4" high and 8-1/2" deep, it has a handle on one side, and the painting is of very high quality for a painted blank. Typical in this era, china painting was very popular and some very talented pieces were produced by home amateurs. This example has lovely red roses and green foliage, a pink interior ground with a pair of roses, and gold trim (which required a refiring to set after the firing on of the painting). An Edwardian carved mother of pearl silver plated bread fork from the 1900-1910 era. An Arts & Crafts patinated bronze ink well from the 1900 to 1910 era. This Edwardian writing or desk accessory features green patination with a fine A&C gold stencil on the front above the pen rest. It stands 3-7/8" tall, 3" wide and 4-1/2" deep. It retains its original blown clear glass inkwell or ink pot and it is stamped BENEDICT ADAM VERO 2213 on the bottom. It is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some expected ink stains and surface spotting and minor edge rubs to the stand and a hole on the bottom of the glass ink well where someone had drilled it (this can be epoxied over or repaired by a glassmaker). there is also a small bump on the back with a tight surface crack to the patination. An English silver plate set of six pastry forks and server in the box from the 1910 era. This lovely set consists of six 5-1/8" pastry forks, the 5-3/4" two-tine pastry server and the fitted velvet and silk lined fitted box. The box is wrapped with a mottled brown leather-style cover and it has a pushbutton release. The utensils are stamped J.E&S S EP (for Joseph Elliot & Sons (Sheffield, England c1878-c1972) and this set would make a great gift. A 9k blue topaz Edwardian rose gold bar pin from the 1910 era. This lovely 1-13/16" brooch features a cornflower blue topaz (tested) and it has a safety pin style clasp and a loop for a safety chain (not present). A copy of A Wreath of Canadian Song by C.M. Whyte-Edgar dated 1910. This is an original boxed presentation copy with a kid leather soft cover and the original presentation cardboard box with the title sticker. Now reprinted, this is an original with gold stamped embossing on the front and spine. It has the tissue-protected plates and is fully gilded on all edges. It was published by William Briggs of Toronto. Condition is excellent on this 8 x 5-3/8" book and it retains its original page ribbon placemarker. There are no folds, tears, foxing or other damage and there is a short ballpoint pen mark on the front cover which has overhanging edges beyond the pages. The box is rough with the lid having some staining, 3 corner splits and one flap split 2/5 of the way down. The box bottom has edge wear and some tight splitting. We haven't found another copy in this format (all originals so far have a leather wrapped hard cover). An Edwardian silver plated coin holder pendant on chain necklace from the 1910 era. This practical 2-1/8 x 1-1/4" coin compact pendant features two spring platforms which would hold nickels and dimes. the 25" chain is continuous and there is a pair of words on the largest platform, one of which is SILVER (we can't make out the other). A 14k Victorian five pearls row ring circa 1900. This size 7 ring features a row of five natural pearls. The pearl setting measures 9/16 x 1/8" and the pearls average 1.5 mm in width. They are slightly baroque in shape and surface and one on the end is slightly duller than the rest. An Edwardian 14k yellow gold seed pearl heart and flower lavaliere necklace circa 1910. This beauty measures 21-3/4" long and it has a central drop in the shape of a heart with a central flower. It has seed pearls and the drop measures 2-3/4" across (all three segments) and 1-1/2" deep. It is marked 14K and it weighs 7.7 grams. The delicate and (probably) shorter original fine chains have been replaced with flat curb link chains with a springring clasp and this necklace is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the replaced chains.
